Balrampur Chini Mills down 7%; Amtek Auto rallies 5%

On Thursday morning trade session, it was noticed that the sugar stocks were trading mixed. Analysts claimed that the shares of Monnet Project Developers were up to 9.87 percent. On the other hand, shares of Dollex Industries were also up to 9.34 percent along with Piccadilly Sugar and Allied Industries and Kashipur Sugar Mills.

These were the top gainers among the sugar stocks. But as mentioned that the sugar stocks were trading mixed, so it was also noticed that the shares of Parrys Sugar Industries went down to 12.08 percent, along with Triveni Engineering & Industries, Dalmia Bharat Sugar & Industries, Uttam Sugar Mills, Balrampur Chini Mills and Dwarikesh Sugar Industries. These stocks were among the top losers of the morning session on Thursday.

At 10:10 am, analysts noticed that the NSE Nifty50 index was trading 23 points up at 10,177, while at the same time; BSE Sensex was up 113 points at 33,146. The top gainers in the Nifty 50 index are ICICI Bank, Housing Development Finance Corporation, Infosys, Bharti Airtel, Reliance Industries and HCL Technologies. Looking the other side, you will notice that the top losers in the Nifty pack of stocks are YES Bank, Hindalco Industries, Bharat Petroleum Corporation, Ambuja Cements and Tata Motors.

Out of total 50 stocks in the Nifty 50 index, 24 were trading in the green. The rest 26 stocks were trading in the red. On Thursday, the shares of Amtek Auto climbed 5 percent. This was noticed when the official confirmed that the UK-based Liberty House has emerged as the preferred bidder for the assets. As soon as this announcement was done, the stock hit its 5 percent upper circuit limit at Rs 23.80 on the BSE.

It will allow expanding our footprint in the automotive sector worldwide according to him. He is also looking forward to working closely with the high calibre customer base that Amtek Auto enjoys.
